Why I started Oneintelligent
For 10+ years, I helped enterprises like PayPal and Ford set up their processes and build products, first as a developer, then as a product manager. The platforms I worked on served hundreds of millions of people across the world. It was good work, but I knew it wasn't what I was meant to do.
Then I wanted to start a small business of my own, and I couldn't find one simple tool to set up the right processes. The tools for projects, sales, support and HR each cost money every month, had to be set up and looked after, and meant training people before they would use them. The all-in-one ones weren't simple either.
Then I sat down with 20+ owners of businesses with 10 to 200 people. It wasn't only a product problem. Most didn't know the frameworks, or how to build workflows that scale, so the business ran on the owner's mind, on spreadsheets, chat groups and apps that didn't talk to each other. The big companies I had worked for had clear processes, one system to run on, and intelligence built in. These businesses had none of that, and couldn't afford five tools, five logins and a team to run them.
That's when it became clear. I had spent a decade building process, product and intelligence for large companies. I wanted to give the same to every growing business, anywhere in the world: one place to run the whole business, set up with you, simple enough that your team uses it from day one.
Kiruthika and I started building Oneintelligent in April 2025. It's the work I was looking for.
